NYC Beer Week is officially back. From now until March 2, you can sign up for a number of exciting events that celebrate New York’s finest craft breweries.
Hosted by the New York City Brewers Guild, the event joins top brewers, celebrity chefs, beer bars and acclaimed restaurants to give exposure to New York’s growing local beer industry, “and thereby lessen human misery,” the event organizers jest.
From a “Books on Tap at The Strand” event, to a “Chocolate Dinner” with creative beer pairings, the week is chock-full of events that appeal to anyone who’s every enjoyed a hoppy or malty brew.
You probably heard of Brooklyn Brewery, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by just how many delicious beers are made right here in New York. Guild breweries include Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, Chelsea Brewing Co., City Island Brewery, Coney Island Brewing Co., Dyckman Beer Company, Eataly Birreria, Gun Hill Brewing Co., Harlem Brewing Co., Heartland Brewing Co., KelSoBeer Company, Other Half Brewing, Queens Brewery, Rockaway Brewing Company, Sixpoint Brewery, and 508 GastroBrewery.
That’s quite a list, and discovering some of these up-and-coming labels is just one of the many great reasons to come out for this week’s celebration.
