The South Street Seaport’s new SEE/CHANGE “ outdoor ice skating rink is definitely a sporting and romantic way to savor winter in New York City. The rink offers a cozy blanket and hot chocolate as the perfect touches to a romantic night out for Valentine’s Day, or for having a blast with friends. Located at the intersection of Front and Fulton Streets in a historic district with quaint cobblestone streets and gas-lit lamps, the rink will be open through March 2014. Not a skater? Sign up for skating lessons there too.

Open 7 days a week with a food and beverage stand: http://www.southstreetseaport.com/ice-rink
