|Witches, Bitches, Ghosts and Trannies…..start your broomstick engines now! The Annual NYC Halloween Parade is this Friday night and promises to be the fright noir whether you’re a trick or a treat!Doesn’t matter if you’re parading, watching from the sidelines, or making your own ghoulish fun, you’ll want to know about these places who will be serving some witches brew:
Aleo (7 West 20th Street)- In Chelsea, right on the parade route, this popular Italian/Med (one of my personal faves) will be serving up devilish Mango Martinis by costume-clad bartenders.
Sushi Samba (87 Seventh Avenue South location and 245 Park Ave South location) is turning Japanese for a Spooky Kabooki Night. Enjoy kaBOOki Juice cocktails, Dracula desserts and enter their Killer Costume Contest. Winner gets a trip to Las Vegas and runner ups get $100 dining certificates.
LeBlon Cachaca, will be serving complimentary caipirinhas at two venues, The Hudson Hotel Library Bar, that will have their Halloween in Wonderland party, starting at 10:00PM. And at Med restaurant, Ilili , near the parade route, on 27th and 5th, the complimentary caipirinhas will flow all night long.
For you uptown girls who prefer a more rarified air, David Burke & Donatella (133 East 61st Street) won’t be smashing pumpkins but will be serving Double Cross Pumpkin Pie Jell-o Shots that promise to be positively spine tingling!
The devil is in the details and you want ‘em, right? Parade starts at 7:00pm on Spring Street and 6th Avenue and finishes up on 21st Street…….at who knows what time???
