The obstacles faced by women with breast cancer go beyond just the physical. The disease, which is remembered this month, has devastating effects on not only the body, but the mind and spirit of a woman as well. In hopes of helping women cope with breast cancer, a non-profit organization called Image Reborn is hosting healing retreats for those who are suffering from or have defeated the disease. Founded by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Renato Saltz, the retreats are held monthly (with the exception of October and December) in scenic Park City, Utah and are 100% free of charge to participants. The stay includes many different programs including a support group, exercise classes and rejuvenation time.
