Inspired by a recent trip to Japan and the intriguing imagery of photographer Daido Moriyama, Reem Acra presented a collection with a sophisticated and feminine touch that evoked a modern femme fatale. The designer’s interpretation of Moriyama’s elegant yet suggestive work translated effortlessly to the runway with traditional Japanese embroidery juxtaposed with beautifully-cut sheaths and form-fitting frocks. The glamorous aesthetic and refined craftsmanship elevated the collection, worthy of red carpet appearances and evening affairs alike.
