If you’re looking for a seriously silly time waster, head on over to http://www.hamsterdance.com it’s a very strange experience. A bunch of cartoon hamsters that sound like they’ve been ingesting helium since the year 1, dancing and singing. Did I mention that the hamsters are in a band? Yes, they do have CD’s for sale!
A better way to waste time on the net is to check out the deliciously trendy, feminine and fun jewelry at http://www.fredflare.com. Exotic earrings are $10 and up.

I just looked at my calendar and realized that it’s T-minus 10 days before my birthday. Yes, this year I finally turn 12. That means next year I become a teenager. Whee! No, seriously the older you seem to get, the more birthdays become emotional landmines. Instead of grooving on icing flowers and who gets the slice of cake with more icing; you look back on the previous year and try to figure out why you aren’t where you’d thought you’d be right now. Why romance, career or what ever your particular hot spot isn’t working for you. Conversely, you may look back and count all the joys and high points that you hit the previous year. Either way, birthdays are a time of reflection.
I, for one am really glad that I no longer have to play “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.” I have problems with spatial dynamics.
