From start to finish, the star-studded Gottex fashion show was truly a spectacle for the eyes and ears. Celebrities such as tennis idol Boris Becker and R&B Singer Mya flooded into the packed show to check out the new and sexy colorful designs the season had to offer. The runway music ranged from latin house, carnival-inspired techno, and even opera-esque tones. The show itself had a story-like vibe beginning with sexy sporty bright yellow 1-pieces, followed by deep purple and pastel swimwear, and ending with light white intricately cut suits with delicate embroidery.

Primary stylist, Hanan, stated that the hair vision was: “clean, sexy, beautiful”. Models donned ‘ponytails with a twist.’ Relating the style to swimwear, the hair had a ‘just out from the water’, wet and glistening look, which was achieved by Redken’s Blonde Glam Crystal Flash shine treatment.

Models were airbrushed head-to-toe to get that healthy, Brazilian-beach babe look and seventies-inspired cat-eyes (using MAC’s Indian Ink) were the major player for make-up while lips were left nude and blush was light.

With the lights, music, celebrity-sightings, and sexy swimwear – the Gottex show was fashion entertainment at its finest.
