City Pulse

By Mrinalini Kamath

A variety of events are taking place this weekend, throughout Manhattan and the Boroughs. You’re sure to find something fun to do, whatever your interests.

Improv Everywhere’s 8th Annual MP3 Experiment

If you’ve ever longed to be part of an art experiment, go to improveverywhere.com
and download the MP3 onto your phone or MP3 player. There is also a list of instructions on the site of what to bring and wear to a certain location in Manhattan at a certain time on Saturday, July 16. Once there, at a specified time, everyone plays the MP3 and follows the directions, whatever they may be. Improv Everywhere’s past experiments and missions include a Carousel Horse Race, the Star Wars Subway Car, and many more. Take a chance, enjoy the mystery and create something!

This is awesome! I want to try a lot of this stuff, bc I am new to the city and am always looking for things to do. I just stumbled upon this cool website City Maps , that has been a lifesave helping me get around. Not only have I found my way places, but I have been able to read info and restaurants and bars that I really want to try. Anyone new to the city, or really just anyone should check it out.
