It’s that time of year again. Fall Spa Week 2010 hits NYC (and dozens of other cities across the country) on Monday, October 11th, lasting through Sunday, October 17th. Already familiar with this amazing bi-annual event? Great. Just hearing about it for the first time? Here’s the scoop. During Spa Week, participating spas offer a variety of treatments for only $50 each. Massages, facials, laser hair removal, full body exfoliating scrubs, manis and pedis, etc., etc. The list goes on and on. These treatments usually cost from $100-$200 each. Why do they do it? Because they want you to get a chance to experience the calming treatments they offer without a price tag that will make you hesitate.

Go to http://www.spaweek.com and sign up as a member to see the list of participating spas in your area, as well as which $50 treatments that they are offering. Make your appointment in advance to secure your spot. Trust me, it gets busy. Additionally, while on the Spa Week site, you can enter to win a $1000 Spa Week gift card just by referring friends. AND you can enter for loads of monthly beauty giveaways.

So treat yourself. You deserve it. And this week, taking a time out to pamper your body isn’t going to break the bank.

Editor’s personal note: This is the perfect time to score a highly coveted pass to the Water Lounge at the Great Jones Spa. It’s worth the $50 alone, without the treatment! And the Fresh spas will be offering you $50 redeemable in product after you purchase a treatment. So that’s basically a double deal.
