Looking for one-of-a-kind pieces to sprinkle in your Spring wardrobe? Shop for vintage fashion treasures at the City Opera Thrift Shop’s Annual Spring Vintage Event tomorrow, Thursday, March 27th. This much anticipated event only happens only twice a year and features a collection of vintage, designer, and vintage-inspired clothing, jewelry and accessories from the 1950-1980’s. (If you hadn’t heard, retro is where its at.)
At the event, you’ll see names like Emilio Pucci, Luci Ann, Yves Saint Laurent, Stephen Burrows, Missoni, Norma Kamali, Oscar de la Renta, Krizia, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Balenciaga, and the listï‚¾which, if you haven’t noticed, includes coveted designersï‚¾goes on. Dresses will be $35-250, coats and suits range $50-250, vintage furs are running $75-650, and all accessories will be priced somewhere between $10-250. And believe you will find some good stuff. The City Opera Thrift Shop was featured in Vogue as “the highest quality thrift shop in New York.”
