It’s just about the middle of the month; have you kept your New Year’s resolutions? Or have you decided that it just wasn’t worth it. Send me an email telling me about your resolution progress. I’d love to know how you’re doing or if you decided that you didn’t want to do it after all. Who knows, you might find your email printed here.
Now that the last of the holiday gifts have trickled in, and we’re all back in our daily schedules, have you looked around your place and realized that you just have a bit too much? If you have, you might want to throw a swap party.
Swap parties are a great city tradition. A group of friends get together and bring one bag of items they don’t want any more. You sit, drink, eat and laugh and trade goodies. Swap parties can vary in themes; unused and unwanted children’s toys, books, CDs, clothing, cosmetics or what ever the host or hostess decides the theme will be. They can be co-ed or single sex parties. They’re a great way to catch up with your friends and trade goodies. Try it; it’s a lot of fun.
