City Pulse

By Allison Warenik-Queenan

Tomorrow evening marks the launch of Amouage’s new Opus IV perfume and MiN New York will be hosting a special holiday benefit and launch event where you can meet with Amouage Creative Director Christopher Chong. Opus IV is a grand and complex scent that first hints at invigorating citrus notes of lemon, mandarin and grapefruit. It leads into the sweet smell of roses and violets and later settles onto the skin as a woodsy, musky scent. Very womanly and sophisticated. And an astronomical 50% of all Opus IV sales will be given to AIDS Awareness in the Middle East.

The National HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program in Oman is an initiative supported by the Ministry of Health,World Health Organization, the United Nations Children’s Fund, the United Nations Population Fund and now, through Christopher Chung’s efforts, The House of Amouage.

This is an exceptionally generous donation to a very important cause. The scent is a perfect holiday gift for a special lady or even just for yourself, because you’ve worked hard this past year. And knowing that half of the proceeds from your purchase will go towards helping others in the world who are suffering from a tragic disease will only add to your feeling of goodwill towards men this holiday season.
