Even with 20 bucks left in my checking account, I still find some way to spend it. I’ve thought about spending that money on food, but it just isn’t as big of a priority to me as fashion. (Filling my closet or my stomach….hmmmm?) So I’ve found a way to comprise both fashion and food: sample sales. By buying my designer duds at an awesome discount, I still have moolah to spare for necessities like eggs and milk.
1. I love the amazing weekly sales at Clothingline. You can score some preppy finds by J CREW and Madewell the week of April 13th or wait in anticipation for their Tory Burch sale coming up in May. (261 W 36th Street, 2nd Floor) http://www.clothingline.com
2. For those who love the finer things in life, check out the Frette and La Perla sale April 19th to the 24th. Get up to 80 percent off gorgeous linens and other incredible deals on some sweet lingerie. (4 West 58th Street) http://www.shellyandrenee.com
3. Make sure to catch the Maxx sample sale ending April 7th. Who can turn down a new handbag? Prices range from $15 to $150, or snag an extra 10 percent off orders paid with cash over $100. (385 Fifth Ave) http://www.maxxnewyork.com
4. For a little funky French chic, check out Agnes B April 6th to the 17th. The threads that were once $150-700, are now $45-150. You’ll even have a few extra bucks for a baguette. (250 W 29th Street) 212.719.0001
