With a front row that boasted Rachel Zoe, Demi Moore, Molly Sims and Simon LeBon, Alice Temperley‘s Spring 2008 collection promised to be a fun ride and thankfully, did not disappoint.
Inspired by the seaside scenes of 1930’s France, the show included several red carpet ready gowns and many entirely wearable dresses and separates. Silhouettes played with volume and proportion, including voluminous sleeves, cinched waists and corset details. Neutrals, in particular whites, ruled the runway with splashes of bright color and metallics.
Hair for the Temperley Spring 2008 show was by Aveda, led by stylist Alain Pichon. Check out the Flip video above for an exclusive interview with Alain, detailing the inspiration and how to get the look.
Makeup for Temperley’s show was by MAC, led by artist Charlotte Tilbury. Tilbury juxtaposed textures and used MAC’s All Over Gloss to create a dewy cheek. Matte lipstick was in bold shades of coral and pink while an Olive Oil Sheen Spray mixed again with All Over Gloss gave bodies a natural looking glow.
