Wine Wednesday Winners – Oenophiles Get Enthused: Wine Enthusiast Hosts the Toast of the Town New York
By Stef Schwalb
Spring is in the air…which means wine events aplenty. There’s going to be a ton of terrific shindigs coming up next month, and we’ll be providing some previews beforehand to keep all of our beautiful oenophiles in the know. That way no one will miss out on any tantalizing tastings or sumptuous selections that may soon become some of your all-time faves. First up? Our friends at Wine Enthusiast magazine will be strutting their stuff at the Hammerstein Ballroom for the Toast of the Town New York.
Serving over 500 wines, spirits, and beers with 35 signature New York dishes that hail from local restaurants we love – like BLT Fish, Picholine and Veritas – the Toast of the Town will run the gamut of goodness when it comes to grapes as well as some foods that pair well with them. The event celebrates everything about wine, food, and of course, our beloved city. By indulging in this, you’re also doing good (FYI) since a portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit RiverKeeper, New York’s clean water advocate.
So get your palates ready to get down…
