If you look hard enough you can find some bargains on cashmere throughout the city that will warm your heart, and the rest of you too. Here are the best ones we found in stores, at sample sales and online.

On a recent trip to the store I encountered a monster sale on cashmere everything. Sweaters were flying from their perfectly folded places on shelves and tables and a slue of sales people, had their work cut out for them refolding the mess. Anyway, the sale is tremendous at 40-50% off of already reduced cashmere sweaters, gloves, shawls and scarves by Portolano, Magaschoni and the Saks brand.

If you have the stamina after checking out the first floor sale, head up to five where cashmere by Theory and Vince are 40% off.

If you’d rather not venture out into the cold go online at overstock.com for some really great deals on cashmere sweaters and shawls. They have some of the best prices we’ve found yet, with cashmere at 60-80% below retail.
