Rebecca Taylor’s show was the first time MAC Cosmetics sponsored nails. MAC was thrilled that nails were finally getting the attention they needed and are participating in six shows in NYC for Fashion Week. The shiny gold nails gave off a streaming bright glow with no top coat and contrasted with the healthy neutral looking toes in the open peep toe shoes.

Hair stylist Kevin Ryan took a more risky approach by blow-drying and volumizing the base of the hair and then using a bended flatiron to loosen the hair up and using hair spray for texture and body. Ryan was looking for a convertible hair in the summer time look. Lets be honest, I try everyday to get that look and most of the time it looks like a hot mess; however, Ryan nailed that effortless style of Serena Vanderwoodsen that all girls die for. Kudos Ryan!
