There’s no better time in New York City for people watching than outside of Lincoln Center during Fashion Week. Editors, models, bloggers and fashionistas galore flood the plaza, sporting their most stylish pieces, aware that this is the place to see and to be seen. This past week, outside the Fall 2011 Collections, there were no shortages of outfits to covet. Even though it was mid-February and the temperatures varied immensely from 30 to 50 degrees, depending on the day, New York’s fashion crowd did not disappoint. The need to cover up certainly didn’t stop anyone from looking sensational. Furry cold weather accessories from hats, vest and capes were overwhelming popular. These will definitely carry a chic lady through the bitter March winds while still turning heads. Do not pack up those fur touches just yet. Blue pea coats hinted at spring and Parisian left bank style, but still kept these uber-stylish girls warm on the chillier days. I highly recommend investing in one of these for the transitional weather ahead. And, as to be expected, killer shoes and fabulous bags took the center stage in most of these outfits. After all, the right accessories can carry any look.
