“Embrace sexy, easy glamour”, was the motto at Vera Wang’s romantic yet effortlessly chic Fall 2013 collection. Opening with a muted color palette of black, stone and charcoal grey with accents of nude lace and sheer panels, the collection embraced the autumnal season with a feminine edge. The garments were architectural with exaggerated silhouettes and emphasis on the hips and shoulders. The beauty look was kept simple yet sophisticated with an ease of movement to the hair and a deep red lip. With ultra-luxe fabrications and refined craftsmanship, Vera Wang did what she does best in a wearable and coveted collection. – Alexandra Taylor
