The Museum of Sex exists to “collect and preserve art and artifacts that support its mission to present the history, evolution and cultural significance of human sexuality.” It also makes for an eyebrow-raising walk through the galleries with your partner, sure to stimulate conversation and much more. Sexy ticket packages are available for couples and singles, which include drinks at their OralFix Aphrodisiac Bar, and trinkets from their gift shop.

Salsa Dancing at the COPACABANA
Doors open at 6:00pm
Burn off those Valentine calories as the legendary Tito Rojas takes over Copacabana’s main stage with his classic salsa beats. This newly re-opened mid-town Mecca is a place where you can lose all inhibitions, and just let the music move you. Even if your partner isn’t exactly “Rico Suave”, they’ll score big points for trying. $20 cover charge; Pri-fixe menus for Valentine’s Day will be offered on their rooftop and supper club levels.

Those of you seeking the sublime can check out this Verdi masterpiece at BAM, presented by the New York City Opera in their first season off the Lincoln Center campus. Celebrity Autobiography: A panel of stars
92nd St. Y at 8:15pm
Nothing says Valentine’s Day better than sex, love and laughter channeled through the words of Hollywood superstars. This cocktailed comedy show has been a crowd pleaser for years, having won a Drama Desk Award along the way. It returns to the 92nd St. Y with a performance of some of the most famous, true, love stories, plus unintentionally side-splitting, jaw-dropping excerpts from love letters and poetry written by our favorite stars. Performers to be announced.
