Christina Aguilera is the latest in a lengthy parade of pop divas to enter the celebrity scent sweepstakes. If you’ve followed Miss Aguilera’s career trajectory, you’ve watched her morph from teen pop tart to a gorgeous women who looks like an Old Hollywood screen siren, yet can belt it out with the best of ‘em. Like its creator, Inspire is a late bloomer: a delicately feminine fruity floral that doesn’t overpower the senses, thanks to its blend of mango, freesia, gardenia, citrus, tuberose and sandalwood notes.

Emanuel Ungaro has been a busy designer in the cosmetic world as of late. In addition to partnering with MAC for a to-die-for, limited edition collection of eyeshadows and lipsticks, the Parisian designer/fashion house has linked up with Avon for a luxe pair of his and her scents, dubbed U by Ungaro for Her and U by Ungaro for Him. The ladies fragrance is as sexy as a backless LBD, mixing top notes of bergamot blossom with pepper blossom and drying down to creamy sandalwood and clean musk. Ambre D’Oro is the latest scent from Tova, one of QVC best-selling brands. It’s a toasty, musky and romantic blend of peony peregrina, Asiatic lily, mimosa and Italian jasmine, laced with heliotrope and patchouli bottom notes.
