Hair Care

By Sheryl George

Who hasn’t had a horrible hair day? No matter what you do, it just won’t turn out right. Or maybe you suffer from thinning hair and are embarrassed about going out? I myself have always had very fine hair so when I heard of Dov Salon and the range of hair extensions, pieces and wigs they offer, I knew I had to go check it out.

Dov, founder of Dov Salon on 126 East 57th Street, is the creator of these newest must have hair accessories. He customizes pieces for any individual, matching hair texture and color. “Ready to Wear Hair” clips into your hair, so you can take it out with ease and not worry about it. There’s also no worry of damaging your existing hair and scalp because it’s a clip in piece opposed to traditional extensions, which can be sewn or glued in.

I tried on several different styles, a clip-in piece that attached to the bottom of my hair made my hair look instantly thicker with soft waves that blended right into my natural hair line. A front hairpiece that came with bangs transformed my after-hair work into a really chic style, long, thick and super straight. It would have been perfect when you’re on the go and you don’t have the time to re-do your style. Adding hair pieces can also accentuate an updo. After clipping in extensions, Dov quickly turned my hair into a sleek chignon with just a few twists.

Seamlessly gorgeous hair for a happy new year.

My biggest worry with extensions was that it would look fake and stand out, but the pieces blended right into my hairline. As well, full wigs are offered to those with hair loss problems. So if you’re looking for an answer to end those bad hair days, quick root fix ups or hair loss concerns, head on over to Dov Salon.
