Fashion gurus, animal lovers and green fiends alike: rejoice! Now even your hair can go vegan.

Premium hair care line, UNITE hair care, specializes in creating paraben- and sulfate-free, non-animal tested and completely vegan products that will keep your hair – and the world around it – healthy and happy. Unite just introduced three brand new systems, the Moisturizing System, the Volumizing System and the Smoothing System, all designed to combat your worst hair woes without weighing your locks down.

All three systems feature a shampoo and conditioner that are meant to tackle a specific hair issue: the Moisturizing System rehydrates hair, the Volumizing System lets hair appear fuller while adding soft and flexible volume, and the Smoothing System helps to manage even the most unruly hair by taming flyaways and smoothing out frizz.

An unabashed animal lover and a proud carnivore, I was skeptical about what vegan hair care would mean for my very long locks. When it comes to my hair, I don’t mess around, so I decided to put the Moisturizing System to the test. The shampoo and conditioner both boast an impressive list of vitamins and amino acids meant to boost my hair’s natural shine. I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed. Both products had a great, clean scent that stayed with me for hours and my hair looked glossy and healthy even in the dead of winter, which all we ladies know is no small feat.

I completed my UNITE experience with some of the collection’s many styling and finishing products. I added a little SHINA, which upped the ante on my hair’s shine spectrum, and then combed some of the BLOW&SET Lotion through my wet hair before blow drying to ensure that my bangs retained their shape all day, despite the city’s killer wind tunnels.

We all deserve to feel like our hair looks great, so why not use products that let us feel good about using them? To learn more about UNITE’s collection of 29 completely vegan and sulfate and paraben free products, including the super handy 7 Second Dry Shampoo, visit Mother Nature and Fido will thank you.
