Popular blowout chain Drybar launched its own line of hair care products and tools, helping girls raise the “bar” on DIY blowouts.
Founder Alli Webb, a longtime professional stylist, had tried countless product lines, eventually settling on a “mishmash” of products used at Drybar. “After trying nearly every product out there,” said Webb, “I just couldn’t find what we were looking for to meet our very specific and rigorous demands.”
As they say “necessity is the mother of invention,” and Webb got to work creating, testing, and refining exactly what she was looking for with the help of nearly 1,000 Drybar stylists (who do over 50,000 blowouts a month!) and their clients.
The result? A delightfully scented line of styling products and professional-grade tools—ranging from shampoo and smoothing cream to blow dryer and brushes—all designed to help you create the perfect blowout at home.
Keeping up with the bar theme, products have fun names like: the Hot Toddy Heat Protector & Frizz Fighter, Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray and The 3-Day Bender Curling Iron; packaging is designed to look like flasks.
