With one taste of Jana’s Skinny Water I was turned off by the unpleasant chemical aftertaste.
The chemical flavoring with a dash of lemon was not something I could imagine quenching my thirst after an hour of Pilates or a run on the treadmill. Touted as a dietary supplement with a 100% natural appetite suppressant, this water is definitely nothing like your daily dose of H2O.
The hardcore dieter or fitness person might find this product a great addition to their regular routine, believing they are burning additional fat just by drinking water, but I just can’t buy it. It didn’t decrease my appetite and it was hard to finish it.
Without stimulants such as; Ephedra and Caffeine, Skinny Water is advertised as an all natural aid that will help curb the appetite, increase fat burning and help reduce body weight with the help of SuperCitrimax. According to the label, Super Citrimax is naturally derived from a South Asian fruit called Garcinia Cambogia, which increases the “full” feeling we all desire without the calories and more importantly the fat.
Any water that has a chemical component is personally not my idea of all-natural but that’s just me! I think I’ll stick to my plain, garden variety, chemical-free H20.
