Cookie craze:
I’m a huge fan of LUNA Bars and have been known to eat them before working out, as an afternoon snack and sometimes even for dessert. So I was naturally thrilled when I learned that they were coming out with LUNA Cookie! LUNA Cookie is a whole grain snack that has the texture of a soft-baked cookie, yet is packed with whole grains, vitamins and minerals for good nutrition. LUNA Cookies contain 130-150 calories, 9g of whole grains and 3g of fiber, and is also a good source of Omega-3 from flax. They are high in calcium, folic acid and contain no artificial flavors or sweeteners, and no trans-fat. The Cookies come in three flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate, Berry Pomegranate and Chocolate Mint, my favorite hands down is the Peanut Butter! LUNA Cookie can be found in grocery stores, drugstores and health food stores. Visit lunabar.com to learn more.

Personal Trainer-like abs at home:
Fitness expert and celebrity trainer Brett Hoebel is known for his unique body-mind approach to fitness and is dedicated to empowering people with the knowledge, motivation, and ability for personal change. Brett recently released his first workout DVD series, RevAbs™ (http://www.revabs.com). RevAbs utilizes Abcentrics, which ensures with every move you are completely working your core. This program, however, is not just crunches; it features ab moves from 6 angles for 6 times the results and incorporates ab training to sculpt abs, interval-cardio to burn fat and strength training to boost your body’s fat-burning ability. This comprehensive 90-day program features two phases, which will tighten and tone your abs and burn the fat that’s covering them. I’ve been using the program for a few weeks and can testify that my abs burn each and every time, and I’m determined to keep it up to see some great results for the spring.
As an international fitness expert with over 15 years experience, Brett holds numerous certifications, like Personal Training, Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching and even Hatha Yoga, and has extensive experience in martial arts including Capoiera and Muay Thai kickboxing. He’s a highly sought after fitness, nutrition and lifestyle coach in New York City and trains a range of celebrities and models. Must-have post-workout winter hair products:
Hollywood hair-treatment guru Philip B. has built his miracle potions into a global, multimillion-dollar brand. His hair, skin and scalp elixirs are blended from pure, fragrant plant essences and are extremely luxurious. My favorite winter go-to post-workout products are the Peppermint & Avocado Volumizing and Clarifying Shampoo and the Lovin’ Leave-In Deep Conditioning Crème. The Peppermint & Avocado Shampoo gives a refreshing scalp treatment and shampoo in one. I fell in love with this shampoo after a recent haircut and couldn’t wait to use it post-workout when in the winter, my scalp and hair tend to need an extra boost. The shampoo has 2.3% pure Peppermint extract plus sixteen healing plant extracts and essential oils to leave hair smooth, and silky. The Peppermint smell will take over your entire bathroom and will make your hair feel unbelievably refreshed and clean. The avocado oil delivers needed moisture, restoring elasticity and bounce.

The Conditioning Crème is perfect for hair that’s dry and not looking so shiny thanks to hot showers, flat irons and weeks under a hat. It works to protect their hair from these damaging effects, including chlorine if you’re a winter swimmer, revitalizing hair from roots to ends. It moisturizes and soothes my brittle hair and protects color-treated hair without weighing it down. The creamy white formula contains a nourishing blend of Aloe, Nettle, Chamomile, Horsetail and Henna to provide shine and suppleness. The handy tube is perfect to throw along in your gym bag as it also doubles as a blow dry crème to tame static and frizz. Visit Barney’s or PhilipB.com to purchase his range of products.

Confident and flirty even during that time of the month:
It goes without saying that during that certain time of the month you probably feel less than chic and put together, but a recent discovery of Moxie feminine care has completely changed that for me. These powder pink, fashionable products will bring a touch of fabulousness to an otherwise dreaded time. Moxie has a range of products to meet any woman’s needs and their convenient and premium packaging will ensure nothing breaks open in your purse and that they always look stylish whether in a desk drawer or toiletry bag. My favorite part is the handy tins that fit a number of products so you’ll be set for the day and can even carry it straight to the bathroom. Moxie feminine care can be found at Duane Reade in NYC and drugstore.com.
