By Jasmin Guleria

They’re calling it the ‘celebrity diet’ and the bodies of Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, and Uma Thurman are certainly proof that the St. Tropez diet is the hottest How-To guide in Hollywood.

The island of St. Tropez is populated with lean, tan, healthy bodies and, according to Dr. Apostolos Pappas, the primary reason is because of how they eat.

The book focuses on a diet comprised of a Mediterranean-French food fusion. Omega-3-rich foods are promoted, while refined foods and vitamin pill cocktails are frowned upon. According to Apostolos, getting your vitamins from real foods is best. Fish is the star of the diet, while fruits, veggies, and whole grains play beloved supporting roles.

The book’s eight-week meal plan consists of a variety of mouth-watering meals and recipes. There’s no guess work when it comes to what to eat. That being said, the meals definitely involve cook and prep time and this ‘time in the kitchen’ factor may dampen the dedication of dieters. However, if you’re a lover of cooking or itching to learn, the recipes are easy to follow.

An example of a meal is red snapper with basil and oregano, served with rice, tomato, and a glass of red wine. Dessert? Chocolate crepes! Mmm…could a diet by any other name sound this sexy? I think not.

Roll-out the red-carpet, St. Tropez is the sexiest diet of the year!
