Estée Lauder Lab Series For Men offers high-performance, technologically advanced skincare, hair and shaving essentials designed to keep you looking healthy, comfortable and well groomed. The line consists of four categories: facial cleansers, shaving, skin treatment, and hair & body.

Oil Control Face Wash, a concentrated liquid-to-foam formula, helps cleanse the skin of dirt, pollution and excess oil. It gently exfoliates for smoother, clearer skin. Maximum Comfort Shave Cream, a pain-saving shave formula, is for shave-sensitive skin. It softens and preps beard to prevent irritation. Instant Moisture Gel is an oil-free, daily facial moisturizer that instantly hydrates, refreshes and cools on contact. It helps to rebuild the moisture barrier to keep skin balanced and comfortable, even under fluctuating climate conditions.

In addition to the standard products one would expect in a skin care line, The Lab Series offers some interesting products in its hair & body line, most notably “Ab Rescue Body Gel, an energizing, cool gel formula for better-looking abs. Used post-workout, it helps tighten and tone the appearance of the mid-section with a combination of soya protein, caffeine and creatine. It helps smooth the skin for a healthier, firmer look. Equally impressive is the Instant Moisture Eye Gel, which revives tired, stressed-looking eyes, and helps diminish the look of puffiness and fine lines.

Root Power Treatment Shampoo is an advanced scalp-energizing shampoo for thicker, fuller-looking hair. It moisturizes and conditions to improve hair’s resilience and pliability, as well as soothes, cools and invigorates the scalp to promote healthier-looking hair.

Because the line features a number of products at various prices, the best way to get familiar with it is by purchasing the Lab Series Starter Kit. It features Multi-Action Face Wash, Razor Burn Relief Ultra, and Daily Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 15, for $27.50.

The Lab Series Skincare For Men sponsors Breast Cancer Awareness, and donates a portion of the proceeds from some Lab Series products – known as “Pink Ribbon” products – to help fight breast cancer. This year, 15 Estée Lauder brands will sell Pink Ribbon products to raise money for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. They include Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Bumble and bumble, Clinique, Darphin, Donna Karan, Estée Lauder, Jo Malone, La Mer, Lab Series Skincare for Men, Ojon, Origins, Prescriptives, Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries and Sean John Fragrances.

In October, Senior Corporate Vice President Evelyn Lauder will appoint World Pink Ribbon ambassadors in select cities to spread the company’s message. At the end of October 2008, the BCA campaign will have distributed more than 80 million pink ribbons and millions of informational brochures, raising approximately $35 million with its retail partners for research.
