It’s happened to all of us. You get your makeup done at the “X” counter; The X brand artist is so bubbly and complimentary that you succumb to purchasing over $100 in X products. The next day, you regretfully look at your little bag of products with frustration. Maybe you make a mental promise to wear your new shimmering Om Orange lipstick. Maybe you even sack up and return the products altogether.
Well pucker up Buttercup and kiss those days goodbye.
A new studio called Makeup&GO! has just made a home for itself on the affluent corner of San Vicente and 26th Street in Brentwood. Offering women an anytime on-the-go professional makeup application in a modern environment, Makeup&GO! is staffed by a team of pro artists and stylists. Best of all, the products used aren’t for sale at the salon, so there’s no feeling of obligatory purchasing.
Makeup&GO! is the brainchild of entertainment executive Lori Sale, who collaborated with beauty industry veteran Janet Hector to launch a breakthrough destination for women to experience prestige brands in a service-oriented environment.
Also housed inside the studio is Bubble Blow Dry, where guests can opt for a quick blow-out. And, for those in need of a last-minute gift, the GO-Gifts boutique is stocked full of exclusive options for a host, birthday or shower gift.
Now everyone in Tinseltown can have a team of stylists ready and waiting at 8:00am. When in Rome!
