This is the story of a real-life superhero, Christopher Reeve. His superman persona was not limited to the silver screen. When tragedy struck in the form of a riding accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down, he did not give up and retreat into himself. Instead, he embarked on a mission for increased research and advancement in the treatment of spinal cord injuries – a fight he fought on until breathing his last on October 11, 2004.
