With today’s hectic lifestyle, visiting the barber on a regular basis is not an option anymore. However, with “mankind’s” increasing interest in a luxurious shaving experience, the industry is now offering all the products and paraphernalia that one needs to bring that barbershop experience home.

aMENity is such a premium shaving line created for men who want a better shave. But why should you want it more than the next line? Because, it has joined the fight against breast cancer. As breast cancer affects the women in their lives – one in every eight women – aMENity founder, Dwight Schultheis believes that for men too “breast cancer is a family issue, not simply a women’s issue.” And even men can get breast cancer, though instances are much rarer than with women.

Geared to the cause of fighting this deadly disease, aMENity has launched the Original Pink shaving cream. Each jar of Original Pink shaving cream donates 25% of its profits to Men Against Breast Cancer, the first national non-profit organization to provide targeted support services to educate and empower men so that they are more effective care givers when breast cancer strikes a female loved one.

Original Pink shaving cream is dedicated to Barbara “Pinky” Eastwood, Dwight’s grandmother, who lost her battle against breast cancer in 2001. A wonderfully vivacious woman, “Pinky” was an incredibly important person in Dwight’s life. A fan of all things pink – her house included pink walls, carpets, bedspreads and furnishings – Dwight made sure that Pink’s legacy would live on by remembering her with the subtle pink hue in Original Pink shaving cream and creating a big lather shave that embodied his grandmother’s bold, free spirit.
