Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner works wonders on fine hair, adding fullness, shine and moisture. Ingredients of panthenol, wheat protein and aloe vera gel help create soft hair, seal split ends and promote manageability.

After using both the shampoo and conditioner for a week, I noticed a marked improvement in thickness and shine. Additionally, Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo and conditioner has a soothing feeling upon the scalp, unlike some other thickening products, which can produce an uncomfortable feeling of heat/tingling upon the scalp. The conditioner contains silk powder, which separates strands for a fuller effect.

For styling, I recommend Bumble and Bumble’s sumotech, a paste/wax hybrid that works very well on fine hair; it provides a strong hold without weighing hair down. The product contains microfiber-reinforced polymer resins, which allows the user to attain a supple hold in any style.

In New York, Bumble and Bumble products are available in fine salons – including two Bumble and Bumble signature salons – as well as Saks Fifth Avenue. A list of the company’s offerings can be found at
