What child wouldn’t want to see a gazillion bubbles? That’s the premise of Fan Yang’s The Gazillion Bubble Show, which casts multitudes of the entrancing orbs into a variety of eye-defying shapes and colors amid music and a spectacular light show.
People are wholly covered in bubbles, and bubbles are used in jaw-dropping, unforgettable ways. It wouldn’t be prudent to give away too many of the show’s surprises, so suffice it to say that it’s a perfect way to spend an evening with children under the ages of eight. Older children may appreciate it too, but to truly thrill, the younger the better.
Lasers, high-quality surround-sound and audience participation are part of the show’s entertainment, and if you’re lucky enough to be in the front rows, your little ones can pop wayward bubbles to add to the excitement. Don’t expect more than the show’s title suggests; this is one night that will be strictly about bubbles -seas of them, if not a gazillion – and this show is all part of New York City’s charm.
