Gossiping and having breakfast with your best friends – a typical scene from Sex And The City? Nope. More like the 12th Annual Macy’s Barkfest. On April 20th 2008 at Macy’s Herald Square NYC, you and your pet can enjoy a delightful breakfast with pet-themed entertainment in the world’s largest store. Can it be any better?
Eating, shopping and spending quality time with your furry friend – all for a good cause. The event benefits Animal Haven (www.AnimalHavenShelter.org) with 100% of the ticket sales supporting their adoption and rehabilitation programs.
Not only does Animal Haven run an animal sanctuary, mobile adoptions and a shelter in Flushing, Queens NY, they also have a beautiful location in the heart of Soho. At first glance it looks like a high end pet boutique, which it actually is, with merchandise, classes, training and readings. However, unlike most chic pet stores, it also plays double duty as a shelter with cat and dog adoptions on the second floor.
