When the idea of sleep sounds more like wishful thinking than fact, it’s a good indicator that you’re probably not getting enough of it. Even though many people view a good night’s rest as a luxury, it is actually as important as protecting your skin from the sun or drinking eight ounces of water a day. With the long hours we work and the stressful commutes we endure weekly, it’s no wonder falling asleep seems more like a chore than an act of nature. With the rise of organic and natural beauty and health products, there are now safe alternatives to getting a good night’s rest that doesn’t involve a possible addiction to sleeping pills, or watching late night television into the wee hours of the morning.
