Silkies is Suited for Successful Charity

Silkies hosiery has partnered with Suited for Success to help disadvantaged women as they enter the work force by providing clothing and educational assistance. To give a leg-up on this altruistic partnership, the company will donate 320 pairs of Silkies hosiery and more than 350 items, including 68 suits, 22 dresses, blouses, pants, jewelry, shoes and intimate apparel.

“As a company that serves the women’s market, it’s essential that we give support to an organization that helps women in need,” said Karen Arbegast, vice president of marketing and customer service of Silkies’ parent company, HCI Direct, Inc. Silkies intends to host seasonal employee clothing drives and donate hosiery products throughout the year. Dorothy Armond of Suited for Success says, “We’re very grateful to have Silkies as a partner. Together, we’ll help women be more confident with their appearance as they pursue their professional goals.”
