Skin Care

By Tallulah Dumonde

Every girl on the planet who cares about her skin has heard about light-technology facial treatments that cost big bucks but get rave reviews from happy clients who claim that their skin has been magically transformed. Like Cinderella, pre-ball. Here’s how the gizmo works: the (infrared) light stimulates sub dermal skin cells. Gently, unlike a gruesome tazer. It then zaps their lazy butts out of hibernation and gets them zinging along, working overtime. The result, they say, is younger skin.

I just started using the Rejuvawand, which is a safe ‘lower-dose’ version of the light therapy tools used in physicians’ offices. Here’s what I have experienced: it tickles, it doesn’t burn (even though I tested it with obsessive overuse the first few days to see if it would) and my skin seems…well, fresher. The product suggests that it will take a full month to start seeing results, so you can expect to hear from me again next month with the full scoop.

For now I’m leaving you with this. If there IS a magic wand, and it turns back time…wouldn’t you like to have it in your own hands?
