Simply Spa lives up to its name by streamlining and improving the spa experience. Combining pedicures, manicures, massage treatments and facials – all on one comfortable massage table – Simply Spa is ideal for squeezing all of the work you’d like done into an hour or two.

For example, imagine you get off of work and want to meet friends for dinner but have two hours to spare. At Simply Spa, you can opt for the 60 minute treatment, which includes 30-minute facial, 30-minute massage, and manicure or pedicure, all in the same room, without having to move! Or, you can choose the 90-minute treatment, which covers a 45-minute massage, 45-minute facial, a manicure, and a pedicure. Spa employees work in tandem for you; one may be giving you a facial while the other rubs your feet. That’s the true meaning of pampering.

At Simply Spa, you can reserve your appointments by specific time, ensuring that you know when you can arrive and leave. You can also devote your entire session to one treatment if you desire only a massage or facial. The spa also offers services in waxing and makeup application.

A specialized spa treatment package can be purchased for moms-to-be and post-natal moms, men who spa, bridal parties, and athletes. Almost any package that can be conceptualized can be created for you, and a Simply Spa gift certificate is a memorable gift.

Located at 104 West 14th Street on the 2nd floor at Sixth Avenue – not far from Union Square – Simply Spa is convenient to most downtown places. After an expert massage and soothing facial, Brenda (or another staff member) gives you a useful “map” of your face, detailing where it’s oily, where it’s dry, and where it tends to be red and sensitive, where it tends to breakout, where there are dilated capillaries, and where there’s pigmentation. She also notes on the map the products she used in the facial.

All of Simply Spa’s facial products are in the Dermalogica line, a brand without any chemicals or harsh additives ( I was given the calming cleanser (for redness), a soothing protection spray, a masque for my oily T-area (forehead, nose, chin), and a skin booster.

Simply Spa also offers hot stone treatments and other a la carte service, so check out for rates, packages and services or call 212-647-8918. Book yourself a break!
