It seems obvious now, doesn’t it? We wash and condition our hair in the shower. Why didn’t it occur to anyone that we should create our own home spa treatments by washing and conditioning our skin in the shower?

The products are inspired by my editorial and celebrity work and the needs of our salon clientele, who
represent an incredibly diverse range of women,” said Gibson.

The body shampoos and conditioners – which rinse off in the shower – are made with grapefruit, dandelion, geranium, honey, ginger root and rose extracts hat have antioxidant properties. In future Ted Gibson salon locations, the body products will be incorporated into the salon.

More good news for Gibson fans – he’s launching eight new products this year, and of course, you’ll continue to see his work on celebrities like Anne Hathaway, Debra Messing, Gabrielle Union and Kate Walsh.

What we can expect exactly – he wouldn’t say, but Gibson is serious about staying ahead of the curve. “I think that it’s the combination of innovation, modern luxury and the attention we pay to the experiential aspects of beauty that really sets us apart,” said Gibson. “If we are going to bring a product into the line, it has to live up to the high standards of all the people we work with — actresses, models, fashion directors, designers, salon clients and especially all the women who have come to expect a certain kind of experience using our products.”
