A new year brings with it new beginnings. We all try to start the new year off on the right foot, and whether that means a diet plan, quitting smoking, or getting to work on time, each new year we strive to outdo the year past. What’s new and exciting, what can we cross off the bucket list this year? With zozi, you can pull out the red pen and start ticking off, and even save a little money while you go!
Founded in 2006, zozi is the brainchild of TJ Sassani. After an eye opening glimpse into his future on one work trip to Boston, he quit his job on the spot and set out to travel the world. It was a shark diving trip in Australia, where he faced his fear of the animal head on, which first inspired the concept of zozi – a platform which would make these types of once-in-a-lifetime events more accessible. By both keeping you abreast of exciting escapades in your own backyard and offering you an affordable option to experience it, zozi injects excitement back in the day to day.
Learning French has long been on my bucket list, so I was excited to find that through zozi, I could take a French Language Class for Travelers. It didn’t hurt that the language was paired with wine and cheese, making for a really fun night out. We were taught the basics of French, what we’d need in order to get around town – how to ask for directions, how to order food. I’m still reciting the months of the year in perfect order! The class was taught through fun games and interaction with others. Meeting new people and trying to converse in this brand new language was fun, and I feel that much more ready for the inevitable trip. Watch out, Paris!
zozi offers many exciting excursions, classes and experiences to choose from. Whether it’s hiking and camping in the Catskills, learning an instrument or art skill, or having a fireside whiskey tasting. I love receiving email alerts about new expeditions in my area, knowing I don’t have to invest much and travel far for a first rate adventure!
