Stella McCartney has partnered with LeSportsac, to design a series of limited edition lifestyle collections. The first limited collection for spring/summer 2008 incorporates a variety of handbags and luggage that are practical, yet desirable accessories that can be used across all aspects of life, whether work, travel or shopping.

The collection consists of 17 pieces. Each bag is multi-functional with dedicated compartments to place cosmetics, notepads, or baby nappies, as well as insulating compartments for water or baby bottles. Each bag is versatile enough to be used for work, weekends or even the gym. Every handbag, regardless of size, features a snap out mesh cosmetics pouch.

The 22″ Carry On Case is the just the right size for all of your essentials during a weekend away and will fit into overhead compartments. The 26″ Check In Case is a bit larger and can certainly fit everything needed for a longer trip. Both pieces come with wheel covers for neat keeping when stored. The Travel Clutch can house all of your travel documents, with smart detailed pockets inside and is chic enough to go from day to your night out on the town. The Hanging Travel Kit is large enough to fit all of your toiletries.

The Computer Sleeve is chic and slim with an exterior pocket for all of your cords, disks, pens and other supplies. Big plus alert!: the sleeve can also go through airport security without actually removing your laptop from inside.

The Large Camera Bag provides enough room for life’s essentials and can take you from daytime at the office to a night out on the town. The Small Camera Bag offers the same chic design, but with downsized dimensions.

The Large Bowling Bag is a perfect carry-on bag for the airplane. The zip around bottom pocket stores shoes, cosmetics or work files and folders. The exterior pocket is also perfect for storing your gym clothes and sneakers after a workout. The Small Bowling Bag offers the same functionality, but with downsized dimensions.

Each silhouette comes in a vibrant color palette and is complimented with wet seal zips giving a modern yet sporty feel on travel styles, strongly contrasted with bright floral print linings and solid color blocking. Mesh pocket details further enhance functionality. Handbags and luggage evolve from softer, more sophisticated Stella McCartney tones of dirty pinks, deep plums and silver greys with contrast stitch details and tactile, metallic hardware and metallic mesh details. Carry-on holders and wheeled cases work together or alone, complemented with the sophisticated clutch and camera bag.

All fabrics are generated from 100 percent recycled materials, strong and durable, but feminine in execution. The hangtag is made from 100 percent recycled paper and comes in 100 percent recycled plastic sleeve, and the dust cover is 100 percent biodegradable.

Stella McCartney for LeSportsac is available at all LeSportsac flagship stores, as well as LeSportsac and Stella McCartney boutiques.
