As years have passed, weary travelers have unfortunately seen their airport nightmares turn into reality more often than not. And the baggage claim area is certainly no exception to the rule.

USA Today has reported that U.S. airlines lost an average of 10,000 bags per day in 2005. This makes distinguishing your bags more important than ever. Enter Travel Chic™.

Travel Chic is a new line of travel accessories that allows you to add fun and flair to your luggage, making it more than easy to spot it in a crowd. And who doesn’t want to stand out in the crowd?

“At crowded baggage claims and waiting areas around the world, identical luggage is everywhere,” said Kay Ponicall, founder. “For quite some time, people have been creating innovative ways to identify their bags by tying all sorts of things to them. With Travel Chic’s accessories, today’s travelers will be able to spot their luggage at even the most insane airports without resorting to ribbons, ropes, tapes and hair scrunchies.”

Travel Chic includes coordinating luggage tags, handle wraps, matching tassels and keychains in bright colors, metallics, patterns and textures such as animal print, faux fur, leather, quilted and houndstooth. All accessories and coordinating sets are under $30.

Purchasing one of these bad boys will also give you the opportunity to give back this holiday season. The company will donate a portion of its proceeds to The Suite Dreams Project – a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating dream spaces for sick children.
