For a frequent traveler, the holidays can be a tough time. But a few locations give the jet setter much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving:

Located in Skaneateles, New York, the Mirbeau Inn & Spa offers Thanksgiving visitors no reason to be homesick. Starting November 24th, this finger lakes destination sets up a deluxe farm-to-table buffet for holiday visitors, from 11:30am-3pm. Between the turkey and trimmings, spend some time by your in room fireplace, or check out the onsite spa. You may be missing Grandma’s pumpkin pie, but you won’t go without the comforts of home. Check their website at for holiday package options.

The South Court Inn in Luray, Virginia offers a free Thanksgiving dinner to patrons spending 3 to 4 nights over the holiday. Choose to stay traditional with the turkey menu, or maybe you feel like going the roast beef or seafood route. Either way, you’ll be treated to a multi course dining experience – tax and tip included. Find more information at

For a historic Thanksgiving meal, the Gillum House in Shinnston, West Virginia opens the doors to the 18th century. A holiday dinner you won’t forget, including a meal straight out of the 1700s – turkey with sage dressing, roast venison, homemade cranberry sauce – served by waiters dressed in fashions right from the day. A rustic, old country dinner right out of the revolutionary times. Truly an American experience! Check out for details.

Just because you are out of the country doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the Thanksgiving holiday. Ceiba del Mar Beach & Spa Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico offers an exclusive “Family Reunion” promotion on Thanksgiving day, which gives you the choice of two different menus for your holiday. Include the whole family and get a complimentary suite when you book three others. Cotton Tree in the Cayman Islands boasts a “Thanksgiving Special” for holiday travelers – A personal chef will prepare your Thanksgiving meal gratis, with a four night reservation. Be sure to mention the code CT375 when booking. More information on both of these can be found at and respectively.

No matter where your travel takes you, don’t miss out on your holiday favorites! Indulge in time honored traditions, or create brand new family gatherings.
