Are you looking for a different, yet satisfying beer that features the atypical (and amazing) artistry of the master brewers at Dogfish Head Brewing Company? Well, look no further, quality beer patrons. The Dogfish Head Tweeson’ale is a light and flavorful gluten-free beer brewed with honey and strawberry that is great for spring, summer, or anytime really. It’s an in-between seasonal ale. The art on the package alludes to this as it shows a bee and a person with a strawberry for a head in various states of their courtship over the course of all four seasons. It’s beautiful.
For many people being gluten-free is not a lifestyle choice, it’s a necessity. Beer is one of the more maligned gluten-free products, as it is made with sorghum, which doesn’t really make it taste like “beer.” Dogfish Head embraces this, and even though the beer is brewed with honey and strawberries, it is not overly sweet. It’s malty, with a hint of molasses as well. It’s refreshing and satisfying, with a flavor all its own.
Dogfish Head is a personal favorite of mine, and their motto “Off-Centered Stuff for Off-Centered People,” really hits the proverbial nail on the head. Try the Tweeson’ale or any other of their delicious creations, you’ll be happily rewarded with a good time.
