The Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) in Soho has commissioned this stunningly beautiful mask that is a work of art in itself by Italian visual artist and director Andrea Mastrovito.
His limited edition mask is comprised of an abstracted DNA filament of letters that are connecting two people and is from Mastrovito’s “Love is a Four-Letter Word” 2009 solo show at NYC’s Foley Gallery. The message behind the mask is one of positivity and humanity, both of which are appreciated and needed during this trying time of the pandemic.
