Missy Heckman

At an early age Missy's had an intense fervor for all things beauty and fashion. In her teens she went to beauty school and earned a professional beauty license. She then went onto college and graduated from NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology studying fashion merchandising and visual design.

Missy's love of writing came in college when she studied fashion journalism and then her first published work came out in print at the age of 25. Her favorite moments in life and ultimate passion can be traced to working back stage during fashion week as a fashion stylist.

She has styled for over a decade and has worked for MTV, NYC Fashion Week and Fairchild Publications. Missy currently and has for many years works as a publicist for fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. She has lived Los Angeles, Miami and her home of New York where she has an enduring devotion for the city's creative culture and extreme individualism. Missy is a painter, a quote fanatic and a city girl that adores the beach.
