Body hair is normal. A given, sure, but in my girlhood I was constantly shaving (dry… sadly) and cropping up with nicks, ingrowns, and overall burning. Not my cutest look but hey, I know better now, thanks to time, wisdom, and Fur. Fur, as you may know from its iconic Fur Oil (in a simplistic sphere bottle) that is meant to be applied to pubic hair as well as your skin all over. I’ve been able to try out some of their line and here are my thoughts on Fur:
Fur Oil
Starting off strong: the Fur Oil. It has a herby, citrusy, and minty profile that lingers long after I apply it to my ahem fur. And arms. And chest. And even my hips. The oil feels more like a dry oil, not leaving me feeling goopy and like I fell into a vat of gasoline. Just a light sheen that is left behind. Sometimes I’ll even use this if I take a night shower and apply it under my arms. All natural baby.
Fur All Body Wash
Wanna see a magic trick? Fur All Body Wash. Hear me out…this oil wash turns into an ultra velvety milky consistency. It’s sensitive enough to use on the face, the body, and the pubic area. The fragrance is very light, perfect for any households that share body wash, all genders would enjoy!
KP Body Scrub
The KP Body Scrub is a 2-in-1 exfoliator, with the chemical and physical properties. Licorice Root Extract, Lactic Acid, Licorice Root Extract and Sunflower Seed Oil to hydrate. I apply it on my legs and arms, places where my KP flares up during the colder months. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse off. I use it two times a week and have noticed my skin is brighter, softer, and smoother. A win for this scrub!
Ingrown Eliminator Serum
Post-shave my skin is super sensitive. Oftentimes red and irritated, but no longer. I spray Ingrown Eliminator Serum, the willow bark extract and lactic acid in it prevents ingrowns from popping up. Every so often when I feel bumps surfacing I just spritz a bit and they disappear!
Stubble Cream
Even if I’m not shaving, waxing, or plucking I’ll rub Stubble Cream onto my legs and enjoy the silky-smoothness. Its all natural formula contains lavender oil, tea tree oil, olive extracts, and tapioca starch. Stubble Cream has a herbal scent and is light enough for bedtime or layering under any perfume. Fur products are all gynecological tested and cruelty free, making for a healthier, happier, and clear pre- and post-shower routine.
