Smoky eyes are staple but the time-honored look has been reimagined by UK eye makeup brand Eyeko. The UK brand’s Black Magic range — sooty mascara, inky liquid eyeliner for crafting the perfect cat eye, and smudgy waterline crayon liner — is now offered as Black Magic: Cocoa Edit and it’s a fresh and chocolatey take on a classic look. The same three products are now available in a rich and warm brown tone.. If you’ve ever wanted to replicate the Olsen Twins signature bronzy, chocolatey smoky eyes, these are the tools with which to do it. If black or gray smoky eyes are two harsh or too cool for you and your skin tone, you can get the same dramatic, smoldering effect with the Cocoa Edit. It’s a little softer and less harsh — but JUST as sexy and bedroom-y. The mascara added just a touch of color to my lashes and I ran a few swipes of the liner over a clear primer and smudged with my finger for that lived in and next day smoky eye look — without the smudges on my sheets from ACTUALLY sleeping in my makeup! I would never… because crashing out without washing your face is so bad for your skin, your eyes themselves, and your pillowcases. But it looks so dope. You can fake that “sleeping in your eye makeup” vibe with the Cocoa Edit.
