Face mists and makeup setting sprays continue to grow in popularity — rightfully so. They do so much and provide product assists! These sprays can hydrate your skin prior to makeup application, giving you the smoothest canvas on which to build your look. They can used post-application to “set” product. Spritz your fave makeup brushes with them — by dampening the bristles, you can further pick up and intensify eyeshadow pigment or texture. If your skin gets dry or you need a mid-day mood and makeup lift, you can blast your face with a pump or two. Or you can utilize them as light night moisturizer or skin-softening boost after washing your face.
The Body Shop Face Mists suit all of these tasks and then some. Each scent will elevate your mood and help you maintain your makeup. My fave is Coco Calming, which smells like the beach even in October; it also looks like it with its blue coloring. All I need is two pumps and I feel refreshed and invigorated. Rose Dewy Glow has reflective particles for when you want that dewy shimmer for your visage. Strawberry Smoothing is as sweet ‘n’ juicy as its name. It’s just the 2pm pick me up you need when you hit the wall. Keep a bottle at your desk, in the car, or on your nightstand. One spritz will leave you all sorts of “Oohing” and “Aahing!”
