IT Cosmetics’ CC+ Cream is a makeup MVP. It offers a poreless, matte, and oil-free finish. It builds to full coverage and can banish blemishes and conceal imperfections or breakouts. It’s hydrating and anti-aging, as well as having SPV 40. It basically works overtime for you and your skin. The formula is super easy to blend so your skin can breathe — the CC+ Cream isn’t heavy and won’t make your face feel weighed down by product. A half pump of product is all your need to do your ENTIRE face. It blends beautifully with a densely-packed foundation brush. While the shade range is a bit skimpy for 2018, you can layer and build the product to suit and adapt to your skin tone and its needs.
As someone with light skin whose tones pull yellow some days and pink on others, I struggle to find a shade that fits. I end up mixing and matching or layering and it works for me, including with this particular product. I had to use a bit more product than I normally would to build even-ness. That said, it would be awesome to see IT Cosmetics extend and expands its offerings for darker skin tones. The brand has answered this criticism, noting that the ingredients sometimes disallow a more inclusive selection of colors. The product’s efficacy is indeed excellent. We’d just like to see it be a little more inclusive.
